MBA’s 2024 Women in Construction Program kicks-off with International Women’s Day Luncheon

Shaw Building Group is excited to be a Supporting Partner of Master Builders Assocation ACT’s Women in Construction Program again in 2024.

Founded in 2018, the Master Builders Women in Construction program aims to create avenues for female members of our industry to connect with other women working in similar roles.

The program kicked-off with the annual International Women's Day Luncheon at the National Gallery of Australia’s Gandel Hall last Wednesday 6 March, and will continue with a range of events throughout 2024.

It was a fabulous event where guests enjoyed a two-course meal and guests speakers including 8-time world champion swimmer Brooke Hanson OLY OAM – who shared her story and keys to leadership success by encouraging self-belief, accountability and positivity.
