Shaw Building Group takes home two awards at the 2024 Master Builders Association ACT Asset Construction Hire Excellence Awards

After being nominated as a finalist earlier this year, Shaw Building Group was honoured to take home two awards at Friday night's Master Builders Association ACT Asset Construction Hire Excellence Awards.

The Canberra Hospital Building 12 Medical Imaging Refurbishment project took home the award for both the Technical Difficulty and Innovation, and Project of the Year categories.

The $5.6m project included the refurbishment of the Medical Imaging department at Canberra Hospital, across two main stages.

The project was completed to a high-level of quality and included a number of technical challenges.

Works were successfully completed in a fully occupied health space, within close proximity of highly sensitive health operations, magnetic fields, and involved minimal impact to any clinical operations.
