THE PROJECT —

Shaw Building Group was engaged under a Project Management Agreement to manage extensive renovation and upgrade works to the iconic HC Coombs Building for the Australian National University. This unusual building extends across 12,700 square metres on three split levels, comprising interlocking hexagonal floor plans with internal landscaped courtyards. The building provides academic, administration and teaching spaces, a historic tearoom and meeting space, as well as artefact storage and handling facilities.
