Tuggeranong Community Health Centre

Tuggeranong Community Health Centre is one of the proposed total of six community health centres for the ACT and is due to be completed in early March.
The TCHC project is an extension and refurbishment of the existing facility within the Tuggeranong town centre precinct. Community Health services to be located in the Centre include:
– Aged care and rehabilitation services

  • In-reach services
  • Aged Day Care Centre removed from brief at PSP

– Alcohol and drug counselling (in-reach service)
-Continuing Care services including:

  • Community Nursing Services, both home-based and clinic based services
  • Allied health services including nutrition, physiotherapy, podiatry and social work Child, Youth and Women’s services


– Dental Services provided to children, youth and adults
– Diabetes services
– Mental health services

  • Adult
  • Adolescents and Young Adults (in-reach service)
  • Dual diagnosis service
  • Primary care services

– Antenatal and other clinics
– Renal medicine services including satellite dialysis & clinics
– Self-management programs for conditions i.e. arthritis
– Pathology collection services
– Private GP Rooms relocated from existing building.
