VALDIS LUKS

Managing Director

Valdis joined us in 1990 and has been at the helm of the company since 2003. Recognised for his decisive leadership and ability to resolve issues, Valdis has a “hands on” approach. He is closely involved in every project the company undertakes, with a focus on achieving practical cost savings and value-for-money outcomes for clients. Valdis is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Building and also a member of the Facility Management Association of Australia. Valdis has previously held the position of President of the ACT Chapter of the Master Builders Association.

ROGER POELS

Director / General Manager

Roger has been with Shaw Building Group for over 20 years and has managed projects across the retail, commercial, government, education and private sectors. A major part of his current role is to make sure that our high standards are maintained, in accordance with our QA and WHS&R systems.

Roger holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Building and a Class A Builders Licence. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Building, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the  Australian Institute of Project Management.

ROSS GREENUP

Director / Construction Manager

Ross has been with Shaw Building Group since 1996. From his initial role as a Project Administrator for fit-outs he was soon promoted to Project Manager, and subsequently became a Director of the company. Ross is an effective communicator, able to translate the requirements of clients to his team working on site.

ROBERT NOACK

Senior Site Manager

Robert has been with Shaw Building Group since 1991 and has been Site Manager of choice for our largest and most complex projects in the retail, commercial, government and health sectors. Robert’s solid trade background gives him hands-on management and problem solving abilities. His practical on-site experience has been invaluable in setting up and implementing our WHS&R and Environmental procedures, pinpointing the issues requiring risk management attention when safety plans are being developed.

DAMIANO SERENELLINI

Senior Project Manager

Damiano is one of the new generation of Shaw Building Group Project Managers who have moved into the senior ranks of the company in the last few years.  Well qualified academically, and with more than 15 years experience delivering increasingly large and complex projects across a wide range of industry sectors and project types, Damiano has amply demonstrated his construction and management competence and expertise.  Standout amongst his many other talents, are a sharp eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to and tenacity for achieving results.  Damiano has recently become a part owner of the company.

JACK HARRIS

Senior Project Manager

Jack is another one of the new generation of Shaw Building Group Project Managers who have moved into the senior ranks of the company in the last few years.   Jack commenced with Shaw Building Group in 2003 as a Cadet in the position of Project Administrator and, in recognition of his skills and abilities, progressed quickly to the position of Project Manager in 2005.  In recent years he has delivered some of the company's largest and most complex projects and has become a part owner of the company.  In 2015 the Australian Institute of Building honoured him with an ACT Professional Excellence Award and a National Professional Excellence Certificate of High Commendation.
